What You Can Expect

As a MidMarket Account Executive on our team, you will own a high-velocity, full-cycle sales motion, building pipeline from the ground up and guiding customers from first discovery through close on our Common Room and Zoom Revenue Accelerator solutions. Your work directly expands Zoom's customer base by connecting growing businesses to platform capabilities that transform the way their go-to-market teams operate. Each day brings a blend of outbound prospecting, discovery calls, tailored demos, and deal negotiation, all in service of delivering real customer value at speed. This role is built for a curious, resilient closer who thrives on momentum and wants to shape how an emerging market segment grows.

About the Team

The MidMarket Sales team operates with a segment-based, full-cycle model designed to meet customers where they are, partnering daily with BDRs, Solutions, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a seamless buying experience. We move with purpose, learn from every interaction, and hold ourselves accountable to both speed and quality, building a high-trust environment where shared wins and direct feedback fuel our growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline through inbound follow-up, outbound prospecting, and timely engagement with buyer signals.

  • Qualify opportunities by understanding each prospect's business priorities, current GTM workflows, and potential use cases for the platform.

  • Lead discovery conversations, tailored product demonstrations, and consultative sales meetings.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through evaluation, negotiation, and close.

  • Build trusted relationships with users, decision-makers, and key stakeholders across target accounts.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Development, Solutions, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a seamless buying and onboarding experience.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline data, account activity logs, and forecasts in CRM systems.

  • Share customer feedback and market insights with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to sharpen messaging and improve the platform.

  • Contribute to repeatable, scalable sales practices that drive improvements in conversion, velocity, and customer outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ yrs experience in a quota-carrying SaaS closing role, with a consistent track record of generating pipeline and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

  • Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of active opportunities without losing momentum.

  • A consultative approach to sales, connecting product capabilities to real customer challenges and guiding evaluations from discovery through close.

  • Clear, confident communication skills across both technical and business audiences, including users, decision-makers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Organization, resilience, and intellectual curiosity in a fast-evolving, high-velocity environment.

  • Familiarity with go-to-market technology, buyer intelligence tools, or sales and marketing workflows.

  • Experience selling to small or scaling businesses, or to sales, marketing, or revenue operations teams, is a plus.
