Job Description

Whether you're helping someone attend a community event, coaching them through daily living skills, or simply sharing a laugh at home, your work will matter. You’ll be part of a dedicated, compassionate team where your contribution is valued and your growth is supported.

Schedule Available

Monday thru Thursday 2pm-9pm + every other Sat 2pm-9pm, Sun 3pm-9pm

Overnight Differential $1.00/hour; Every Weekend Schedule Differential $3.00/hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered, respectful care and support based on individual goals and preferences.

  • Assist with daily living tasks, including hygiene, dressing, meals, medications, and mobility.

  • Promote choice, inclusion, and community involvement.

  • Transport individuals to activities, events, and appointments.

  • Support and celebrate milestones, birthdays, and holidays with the individuals you serve.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans and safety protocols.

Direct Service Staff (no exp required) and Service Coordinator (2 years exp required) roles are Union positions and require Union membership and reasonable monthly due.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • 2 years of verifiable experience supporting vulnerable populations preferred.

  • Valid Minnesota driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

  • Must pass a DHS background study.

  • CPR/First Aid Certification (we offer paid training if needed).

  • Physical ability to lift and transfer at least 60 pounds occasionally.

  • Must have intermediate computer skills sufficient to receive online training and submit daily online documentation in a health care database.
