Senior Azure AI Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior AI Developer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications and cloud-native solutions using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role will focus on developing AI-powered business applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, vector databases, and Azure AI services, while also contributing to application modernization, cloud architecture, and DevOps initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications using Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services. Develop AI-powered business applications leveraging: Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Prompt engineering Semantic search Vector databases Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI use cases and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Develop enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and Microsoft technologies. Build cloud-native applications that integrate Azure services with existing enterprise systems. Architect secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud environments. Lead application deployment, cloud modernization, and migration initiatives. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates. Support containerized deployments using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Integrate cloud and on-prem data sources to support AI and analytics initiatives

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience; -At least 7 years of professional software development experience; -At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure; -Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful API development; -Experience developing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure; -Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Machine Learning, or related AI platforms. Experience with Python for AI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Search, and Azure OpenAI are a plus; -Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub; -Experience with Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools; Strong understanding of software architecture, security, and application lifecycle management; -Experience building enterprise AI applications using LLMs, copilots, chatbots, RAG architectures, and vector search technologies is a plus; -Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or related data platforms is a plus; -Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus; -Experience working within regulated or compliance-focused environments is a plus; -Familiarity with healthcare technology systems and workflows is a plus; -Related Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, and Azure Developer Associate) is a plus.
