Full job description
This is an opportunity to do more than traditional paralegal work. As a Paralegal in Sage’s Legal Innovation Centre, you’ll deliver practical legal support to colleagues around the world while helping us rethink how legal services can be simpler, faster and more scalable.
You’ll take ownership of a broad range of legal requests from initial review through to resolution, using established playbooks and guidance while knowing when to bring in an attorney or specialist. Alongside delivering great support today, you’ll help improve how we work tomorrow by turning repeatable legal work into better playbooks, self-service resources, digital workflows and AI-assisted services.
If you enjoy combining hands-on commercial legal work with technology, problem-solving and continuous improvement, this is a chance to help shape a modern legal service.
You’ll join Sage’s Legal Innovation Centre, working alongside legal, service design, engineering and operations colleagues to deliver effective legal support and improve the experience for the people who use our services.

Hybrid Working - 3 days per week in our Atlanta office and 2 days from home.
-
Owning defined legal requests from intake through to resolution, applying agreed playbooks and escalation routes.
-
Supporting legal teams with commercial contract review and negotiation, legal research, document preparation and other legal matters.
-
Building strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding what they need and communicating clearly to keep matters moving.
-
Applying sound judgement to identify risks, work within agreed boundaries and involve an attorney or specialist when needed.
-
Turning legal knowledge into reusable playbooks, templates, clauses, guidance and self-service resources.
-
Helping design, test and improve digital and automated legal workflows, including providing human oversight of AI-assisted outputs and identifying opportunities to simplify processes.
