Job Overview

CleanSpark is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team in Las Vegas. This role will support Senior Financial Analyst with monthly/quarterly reporting cycle and reports that leadership relies on to make critical business decisions.

You will own recurring deliverables end to end, from close support and P&L packages through budget-vs-actual reporting, while building the dashboards and process improvements that make those cycles faster and cleaner over time. You will work closely with other departments such as Accounting, Energy, and business-unit leaders, which means exposure to the full operating picture of a company scaling our Bitcoin mining and AI-HPC data center operations.

This is a strong fit for someone early in their finance career who is detail-oriented, comfortable in Excel, and loves structure & recurring responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute monthly close and reporting cycles accurately, consistently, and on schedule.

  • Prepare and refresh monthly P&L packages at the consolidated and business-unit level.

  • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for review.

  • Maintain the energy usage workbook and flag anomalies for the Energy and FP&A teams to investigate.

  • Prepare and monitor monthly budget-vs-actual reporting.

  • Analyze historical results and perform variance analysis to identify trends, explain key drivers, and recommend improvements.

  • Identify and drive process improvements, including building standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards.

  • Support ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities for financial performance improvement and automation.

  • Contribute to the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.

  • Partner with finance personnel to understand cost drivers and inform business decisions.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

This role requires professionalism, respect, strong communication, and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented, inclusive environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of work experience.

  • Willingness to support after-hours response or weekend work, if required.

  • Ability to operate on a computer for long period of time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong/exceptional attention to detail.

  • Loves structure and recurring responsibilities.

This position may involve duties that require operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites. As such, candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
