Job Description
A large software and gaming company is seeking a talented and experienced producer to join the Video Production team. You will be instrumental in producing high-quality gameplay, video, and screenshot assets that showcase products and experiences. This role works especially closely with the Paid Media teams to create supplemental video assets that are engaging and promote interactivity —creative built to earn attention in-feed and drive players to act. You will collaborate across multiple departments from marketing, paid media, and game teams through to external vendors and agencies to produce high-quality content. Ideally you have experience producing multiple projects at once, working with complex export, variation, localization, and versioning needs, and you are comfortable holding a large deliverables matrix without losing track of a single cut. With your skills, you will facilitate and drive the production of media assets including video, screenshots, paid media variants, and additional marketing materials with an eye for Epic standard quality and creativity across multiple concurrent projects.
In this role you will:
- Own the production management of marketing videos and paid media asset packages, overseeing the entire process from planning to final delivery.
- Partner closely with our Paid Media teams to produce supplemental video assets that are engaging and promote interactivity — hook-first cutdowns, platform-native edits, interactive creative, and end cards designed to drive action.
- Produce multiple projects simultaneously, managing complex export, variation, localization, and versioning requirements across aspect ratios, durations, platforms, and languages.
- Own the deliverables matrix for each campaign — tracking every ratio, length, language, rating, and platform spec from master through final versioned delivery.
- Manage production schedules and facilitate communication between internal teams, external partners, and paid media stakeholders.
- Work with outsourced vendors and agencies on trailer productions and paid media asset builds, from brief and bid through review cycles and final delivery.
- Keep projects within budget and scope while finding ways to execute on the goals of the ads within a reasonable timeline, flagging trade-offs early rather than absorbing them late.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution for projects.
- Proactively identify and address any production challenges or issues to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Facilitate internal and external content creation pipelines and collaborate with Video Finishing, Marketing, and Paid Media teams to ensure timely delivery of assets to their departments.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Paid Media teams to support creative testing and iteration cycles so learnings from live performance inform the next round of assets.
- Ensure compliance with legal, music clearance, platform advertising policy, and other requirements for video projects, maintaining industry standards and best practices for video and advertising deliverables.
Skills and Requirements
- Previous experience working in a production role where you’ve managed teams in the creation and delivery of complex projects — both with internal artists and external vendors — with a focus on marketing videos for gaming platforms.
- Experience producing paid media, performance, or social video assets at volume, including supplemental and interactive creative built specifically for in-feed and in-app placements.
- Demonstrated ability to run multiple projects at once with complex export, variation, localization, and versioning needs.
- Experience working with outsourced vendors and agencies on trailer productions, including briefing, scope management, and holding delivery schedules.
- A track record of keeping projects within budget and scope while still delivering on the goals of the campaign within a reasonable timeline.
- Strong understanding of video production pipelines, scheduling, and project management.
- Familiarity with platform advertising specs and delivery requirements across social, video, and app store placements.
- Passion for video games and a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends.
- Experience with gameplay video capture techniques and optimizations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficient or working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere and Photoshop or similar software.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Shotgrid, Airtable or Jira
