This position is not a remote position and requires teaching and office hours on campus. Responsibilities include supervising graduate students, assisting with curriculum development, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising practicums, research activities, and departmental, school, and university service. Summer teaching assignments may be available, depending upon enrollment and funding. Terms of Appointment Continuing tenure-track position for nine months. Summer appointment is contingent upon availability of funds and enrollment. Beginning date of appointment is August 2027. Source of Funds State Salary Range $65,292 to $68,728, depending on experience. \ ### Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree with a specialization in sport psychology, performance psychology, or a closely related field. Candidates must either (a) possess the Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) credential from the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) or (b) provide documentation of eligibility to sit for the CMPC certification examination. Candidates who do not hold the CMPC credential at the time of application will be expected to obtain the credential within 12 months of the contract start date. Candidates must demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and members of the university and local community. ABD candidates will be considered; however, the doctoral degree must be completed by August 2027, the contract start date.
