Quality Documentation Specialist

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $16.00–$19.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment Team has partnered with an established aerospace manufacturer in Detroit to recruit a Quality Documentation Specialist. This position provides administrative and documentation support to the Quality Assurance Department, helping maintain accurate, organized, and accessible quality records in a regulated manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys administrative work and is comfortable working with electronic files, documentation, and recordkeeping. Aerospace or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and documentation support to the Quality Assurance Department.

  • Scan, verify, organize, and archive completed production travelers and quality records.

  • Assist with preparation of quarterly quality reviews by gathering and organizing information.

  • Complete and maintain customer and supplier surveys and questionnaires.

  • Maintain document and specification libraries, including updating revisions as directed.

  • Retrieve archived documentation and maintain accurate electronic and paper records.

  • Manage purchase orders and certifications related to calibration and outside testing.

  • Track calibration documentation and assist with upcoming calibration requirements.

  • Gather quality documentation for audits as requested.

  • Provide general administrative support to Quality Management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn electronic document management and filing systems.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

  • Professional, dependable, and able to collaborate with different departments.

  • Previous administrative, document control, or records management experience preferred.

  • Manufacturing or aerospace experience is a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with AS9100, Nadcap, or aerospace quality documentation is an advantage.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
