Job Title Associate Director, Admissions Systems and Technology

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Admissions Operations, the Associate Director provides strategic leadership for admission technology systems, serving as the functional lead for enrollment management systems including application management tools, student information systems (Banner or similar), CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and Axiom processes.

Oversees technical projects, system enhancements, integrations, and data integrity initiatives while partnering with campus stakeholders to improve efficiency and streamline workflows. Supervises technology staff, manages issue resolution and testing, and ensures effective training, documentation, and adoption of systems that support enrollment operations.

Salary for this role will be $80,000, non-negotiable.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., information systems, computer science, business administration, higher education) with 2 years of relevant work experience OR a combination of education, training and at least 4 years of relevant work experience.

  • Considerable experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Slate, Ellucian CRM )

  • Considerable experience with SIS systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft)

  • Comprehensive analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Considerable experience supervising a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., information systems, computer science, business administration, higher education) with 2 years of relevant work experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience

Conditions of Employment

This is a remote position, requiring a traditional 40-hour work week. Computer equipment will be supplied for remote work; high-speed internet is the responsibility of the employee.

  • The equipment provided to staff with approved telework agreements enables them to deliver vital services to University faculty, staff, and students from remote locations.

  • Many of our operations can and should continue as usual, even when the main physical campus is closed.

  • Therefore, all division employees with an approved telework agreement are generally expected to work during official University closures.

Should travel be required, budgetary constraints may limit where the successful candidate can reside. In addition, existing payroll limitations on locations a remote employee may work from could limit the selection of the final candidate.
