Logistics Coordinator

We?re looking for a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to own shipping, receiving, and inventory control across multiple internal locations. As our sole logistics specialist, you?ll ensure materials are received accurately, documented correctly, and available when needed while building the process rigor we need for ISO9001 readiness. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, quality-driven environment and can balance day-to-day execution with continuous improvement. --- Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inventory Control ? Perform daily shipping and receiving, including initial inspection, documentation, and timely dock-to-stock flow. ? Process receiving in Inventory and Procurement software, Katana and Procurify (dual-system accuracy). ? Execute cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain inventory accuracy. ? Allocate stock room materials to projects; ensure correct labeling, bin locations, and traceability. ? Close collaboration with Manufacturing and Operations teams. Multi-Site & Internal Logistics Coordination ? Coordinate receiving and material flow across multiple internal locations; stage and move materials to labs, stock rooms, and production areas. ? Maintain clean, organized, and compliant receiving and inventory areas. ? Oversee receiving practices at partner/third-party locations to ensure controls, documentation, and traceability are followed. Project-Based Logistics Support ? Manage high-volume receiving during major project phases and coordinate shipments to deployment sites. ? Schedule carrier pickups/deliveries, track shipments, resolve issues, and manage RMAs/returns with suppliers. Quality, ISO, and Compliance ? Perform additional receiving, inventory, and quality checks as part of ISO9001 preparation. ? Record and maintain audit-ready documentation (packing slips, BOLs, serial/lot tracking, CoCs when applicable). ? Quarantine and document nonconforming materials, coordinate with suppliers and Quality on disposition. Material Handling & Equipment ? Safely operate a forklift and material-handling equipment to move heavy and palletized loads. ? Conduct basic equipment checks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, scales) and uphold safety standards. Systems & Continuous Improvement ? Maintain data integrity in inventory system and support process updates. ? Identify and implement improvements to receiving flow, inventory accuracy, and logistics efficiency. --- Required Qualifications ? Forklift certification; frequent operation moving heavy/palletized items. Class 5 Forklift Certification ? Hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling. ? Experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment ? Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail; familiarity with traceability (serial/lot, holds, CoCs). ? Ability to coordinate logistics across multiple locations and with third-party partners. ? Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work safely in warehouse/production environments. ? Comfort with digital inventory systems. --- Preferred Experience ? ISO9001-aligned receiving and inventory documentation. ? ERP/inventory systems and procurement tools (e.g., Procurify or Katana). ? Coordinating logistics for complex, multi-shipment projects. ? Experience with RMAs/returns, nonconforming material handling, and inventory management. ? Contributions to SOPs, process improvement, or warehouse layout/organization/consolidation.
