Full job description
Canvasser (Part Time) 1. Location: Johnstown/Somerset, PA Area 2. Pay Rate: $35.00 an hour 3. Schedule: Monday to Saturday - 2:00pm to 7:00pm (30 hours a week) What will you be doing? We are looking for a friendly and outgoing Canvasser to engage with members of the community and provide information about our services. The Canvasser will visit homes or businesses, speak with individuals, answer basic questions, and record information or feedback as needed. 1. Visit assigned neighborhoods, homes, or businesses 2. Introduce and explain services or programs 3. Engage with the public in a professional and friendly manner 4. Answer questions and provide information 5. Collect contact information, feedback, or other required information 6. Maintain accurate records of daily activities 7. Work independently while following assigned routes and instructions What are the Job Requirements? 1. High school diploma or GED 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 3. Comfortable approaching and speaking with people 4. Reliable and professional 5. Able to work independently and outdoors as needed 6. Previous customer service, sales, or canvassing experience is required 7. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a smart phone is required 8. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
