Full job description

  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

  • Provides assistance in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger. This includes the recording, balancing, and reporting of revenues / receipts, expenditures, fixed assets and reconciliation of numerous balance sheet accounts. Other responsibilities include assisting with the annual audit, monthly status reports, month-end closings, unclaimed property reporting, investment analysis, miscellaneous billings, rental contracts, lease accounting, CAM, and the annual budgeting process.

  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional/Educational

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred.

  • Two to four years minimum professional accounting experience required.

  • Working knowledge of GAAP is preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word

  • CPA preferred.

  • Personal

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Open to change and willing to learn new skills.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
