Position Purpose: Sr. Analyst will support the Retail Media and Digital Monetization business for The Home Depot. This role has responsibility for applying advanced quantitative and analytical techniques to build quantitative models/capabilities, drive data-driven insights and strategies around pricing, yield management and revenue optimization of ad units. You will also be responsible for creating analytics, translating business questions to actionable insights, supporting ongoing analytical needs, and designing new analytical capabilities by partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality analytic solutions for The Home Depot Retail Media business. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, highly visible team that’s reshaping digital advertising in the world’s largest home improvement retailer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Quantitative Modeling for Retail Media
- Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze data, conduct research and synthesize feedback into plans, processes and playbooks
- Build/maintain data infrastructure (Python notebooks, data pipelines, aggregated data sets, reports, dashboards) to monitor the performance of our operations and drive business understanding
- Execute and maintain analytical tools and models to support production
- Perform analytics to measure effectiveness of operations and drive improvements in Ecosystem via strategic partnerships and insights
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Reports to Sr Manager

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance
- Demonstrated business/financial modeling capabilities with tools such as Excel and Access
- Demonstrated skills in applying statistical analysis principles to business challenges
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; self-starter
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, etc.) or relevant work experience
- 3+ years of experience in advanced analytical techniques, machine learning, and predictive modeling. Experience with advanced tools and libraries for data analysis and modeling is preferred. This can also extend to data mining, statistical analysis, auditing, and/or forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Python), data manipulation, and visualization tools, along with expertise in database management and SQL, is preferred. Familiarity with relevant ad tech platforms and tools is also beneficial.
- Prior experience in the retail and digital advertising sectors, especially in roles related to pricing strategy, yield management, or digital monetization, is a significant advantage.
- Specialized knowledge of pricing strategies for digital ad units, yield management techniques, and familiarity with the intricacies of retail media is highly desired. Specific domain expertise enhances the candidate's ability to drive results in these areas.
