Field Applications Manager

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly technical, customer-facing Field Applications Manager to lead and grow a team of Semiconductor Test Applications Engineers in Irvine, CA. This leader will be responsible for managing a team of 8 engineers, driving customer success, supporting strategic accounts, and providing technical oversight on semiconductor test program development. The ideal candidate combines strong ATE test expertise with proven people leadership, customer management, and business development experience.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of semiconductor ATE experience

Hands-on experience developing or supporting semiconductor test programs on ATE

2+ years of leadership/people management experience

Experience conducting performance reviews, talent development, hiring, and team leadership

Strong customer-facing experience working directly with technical decision makers

Ability to provide technical guidance and step into customer/test program discussions when needed

Ability to travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally

Must be able to work onsite in Irvine 4+ days per week Experience supporting digital or RF semiconductor testing
