Full job description

Employment Type: Full timeShift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Trinity Health Grand Rapids' Hauenstein 3 (H3) is an innovative 34-bed mixed acuity Neuroscience Medical Surgical Unit able to care for low acuity up to non-intubated critical care patients. On H3, we pride ourselves on the neuroscience nursing specialty, focusing on the unique expertise needed to care for this specialized patient population. The nurses on this unit care for a wide range of patients who have undergone complex neurological surgeries and procedures as well as trauma. We are also a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and therefore care for newly diagnosed stroke patients in need of emergent thrombolytic and neuro interventional treatment. Additionally, H3 contains an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit which provides these patients all types of medical and surgical care options. On H3, specialized training and education is provided during a comprehensive orientation and available thereafter continually for neuro nursing expertise.

What you will work:

  • Full time or Part Time Opportunities Available

  • 2 to 3 - 12 hour shifts

  • Every third weekend rotation

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

What Registered Nurse, RN will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program

  • Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.

  • In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire

  • Licensed in the State of Michigan

  • Experience as an RN required

Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply
