Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.

Position Summary

As a Software Engineer on the MinuteClinic Product Engineering team, you will build and maintain the services that support patient scheduling, kiosk, clinical workflows, and provider tooling across MinuteClinic locations nationwide. Working alongside senior engineers and tech leads, you will contribute to feature development, bug fixes, CI/CD pipeline work, and production support as part of a collaborative, on-call–enabled engineering team.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain C#/.NET services hosted on IIS and Azure, supporting patient-facing and clinical-facing applications including scheduling, kiosk, care management, and data exchange

  • Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code review; contribute unit and integration tests using the team's established testing practices

  • Contribute to GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows as part of the team's ongoing pipeline modernization effort across hundreds of application repositories

  • Monitor application health using AppDynamics and Splunk; investigate and resolve issues identified through alerts or on-call escalations

  • Work with SQL Server — write and maintain stored procedures, queries, and schema changes under the guidance of senior engineers

  • Collaborate with product owners, QA, and infrastructure engineers to deliver features from requirements through production deployment

  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to production incidents using team-standard tooling (AppDynamics, Splunk Cloud, IIS, Azure VM access)

  • Document technical decisions and contribute to team knowledge bases and runbooks

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with C# and .NET (Framework or Core)

  • Working knowledge of REST API design and SQL Server

  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and at least one pipeline tool (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, or equivalent)

  • Ability to read and troubleshoot application logs; comfort working in a cloud-hosted environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IIS-hosted web applications and Windows-based deployment workflows

  • Exposure to TypeScript or Angular for internal tooling

  • Familiarity with APM tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, or Grafana

  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and PHI-handling practices

Education

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field

Equivalent Experience Accepted

  • In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment will be considered
