MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursueour missionat MSK and around the globe.Clinical Nurse - Wound Ostomy Continence TeamExciting Opportunity at MSK: We are looking for a clinical nurse with experience in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Care to join our (WOC) Team. Our team delivers comprehensive care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment across both inpatient and outpatient settings. We are a robust team of 20+ Board Certified Nurses by the WOCNCB. Role Overview: * You will provide specialized nursing care to hospitalized oncology patients with complex wounds, perform detailed assessments, and develop treatment plans to optimize wound healing and patient outcomes. * You will also work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide education, support, and continuity of care throughout the various stages of treatment and follow-up. * Implement the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and nursing interventions in our WOC Team. * Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care. * Provide outstanding patient centered care to our patients. Key Qualifications: * 1.5 - 2 years of Clinical RN experience * Acute care setting: Wound/Ostomy care experience is preferred * Bachelor's of Science in Nursing * New York State RN License * BLS Certification * CWON is preferred, must complete WOC Education Program and Clinicals Core Skills: * Willing to take action and eager to accept new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. * A skilled decision-maker, with a track record of making timely decisions that uphold the organization's nursing care standards. * Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged, using both formal and informal development. * Approachable and comfortable with diverse groups of people. * A skilled communicator, capable of determining the most effective way to reach various audiences and completing communications based on that understanding. * Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. Additional Information: * Location: Rotate between Inpatient (Main Campus- 1275 York Avenue) and satellites site in NYC (David.
