Full job description
About Us Coach is building the AI coach for the physical world. Starting with in-person sales. For centuries, field organizations have relied on layers of management to relay information, coach teams, and understand performance. We believe AI will radically change how these companies operate and how people learn and improve at work. Today, understanding why a sales rep succeeds or struggles still requires being alongside them in the field. That doesn't scale. And yet roughly 80% of global sales still happen offline. Coach helps employees learn faster, improve, and close more. Managers get a clear view of what's happening, where people need help, and why, so they can focus on solving problems. Our custom AI harness turns field conversations and business context into sales intelligence, grounding coaching in what actually happens on the ground. Over time, that accumulated knowledge becomes a company brain: a shared understanding of how the business works. We're bringing AI to people who have never had a reason to use it, by making it part of the human interactions at the heart of their work. In-person sales is only the beginning. The role Be Coach's first marketer. $1.5M ARR in 8 months, closed entirely by the CEO in outbound, with zero marketing. No site that converts, no ads, no SEO, no events. Every dollar came from cold calls and referrals. Imagine what this machine does with fuel. Your job is to find out how this market buys. You test channels in sequence, you track everything down to cost per demo, you kill what doesn't work, you double down on what does. You own demand end to end: capture it (a US site that converts, case studies, SEO, GEO, then paid search) and create it (trade shows and our own events, partners, and the content machine behind the founders). Everything you build feeds one number: qualified demos in the CEO's calendar. You work side by side with him in San Francisco. Team We're a small team in SF and Paris, growing fast. And we're scaling aggressively from here. You will work directly with Mathieu, CEO and co-founder. Former pro footballer, he closed the first million of ARR. Around you: Thomas (COO, customer success), Nicolas (CTO). Your first 30 days
- Ship funnel v1: a site that converts, the first two customer case studies live.
- Take over the founder content machine: the CEO's raw material (sales calls, client stories, the SF journey) turned into a steady publishing rhythm.
- You built your channel test plan written.
Your first 60-90 days
- Your first event executed.
- Paid search live on bottom-funnel intent.
- SEO and GEO foundations shipped.
- The partner program systematized: recruiting referral partners, arming them to pitch, keeping them warm.
- Every channel tested has a written verdict: scale, iterate, or kill.
- Next quarter's plan co-built with the CEO.
What you'll do
- Inbound engine. You own it alone: site, landing pages, case studies, SEO, GEO, Google Ads.
- Events. The shows we attend and the events we host. You run guest lists, logistics, and the follow-up.
- Founder-led content.
- Partners. Our referral partners already bring deals. You turn that from goodwill into a program.
- Truth-keeping. You track everything, you report honestly, and you kill your own ideas when the numbers say so.
What we're looking for
- 3-6+ years in marketing or growth, with at least one channel you personally grew from zero at an early-stage company.
- Analytical to the bone. You know your numbers at every step: traffic, conversion, cost per demo.
- A strong writer. Native-level English.
- Full-stack shipper. You can get a landing page live, cut a clip, write a case study, and run an event in the same month.
- Comfortable with our audience. Our buyers are owners of traditional field businesses (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, home improvement), not SaaS buyers on Slack.
- The fire!! You want to live the founder life without (yet) starting your own company: full ownership, early-stage chaos, direct impact.
Bonus
- You already use AI heavily in your daily work
- Ex-entrepreneur back in a full-time role
- You've marketed to home services, trades, or blue-collar business owners
- French speaker (nice, not needed)
Don't sign if
- You're a one-channel specialist looking to re-run your favorite playbook
- You need a big budget and an agency roster to get anything live
- You want to do brand before there's pipeline
Compensation
- Base $120-160K
- Performance bonus (~15% of base), paid quarterly on pipeline created, against targets written before your day 1
- 0.20-0.50% equity
- Based in San Francisco, in person with the CEO
