Restaurant Cleaning Technician - Destin

*This position is offered through a No-Fee Staffing Service TEL Staffing is looking for a Restaurant Cleaning (and basic maintenance) Technicianto work full-time at a fast-paced restaurant in Destin FL. JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a RELIABLE and DEPENDABLE full-time Restaurant Cleaning (and basic maintenance) Technician to handle basic repairs and cleaning within our busy restaurant, in order to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for both our customers, and our employees. This role combines both janitorial duties with light maintenance duties. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces - Conduct minor repairs on restaurant equipment, fixtures, and furniture (chairs, tables, etc.) - Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and providing touch-ups and basic repairs - Keep maintenance and cleaning supplies stocked and organized - Perform regular inspections of the facility - Ensure all work meets safety and health standards - Report and/or fix issues as needed REQUIREMENTS: - Must have previous cleaning (and basic maintenance) experience - Must have at least a basic knowledge of general repairs and upkeep - Must have the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods - Must have strong attention to detail - Must be reliable and dependable - Must have the ability to work independently - Must be able to manage your time efficiently PAY: Starts at $18 - 20/hr. (depending on current level of experience) SCHEDULE: - Full-time ... 40hrs a week - 5 days a week (Mon, Wed, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) - Approximately 8am to 5pm (some flexibility on exact start and stop time) - MUST be able to work BOTH weekdays ANDweekends Must pass a routine pre-employment background check before starting work TEL Staffing complies with regulations enforced by the EEOC.
