What is the Sales Development Program (SDP)?
Located in Peachtree Corners, GA , the SalesDevelopment Program (SDP) is a full-time, 12-month opportunity designed to equip recent graduates with the skills needed for a successful career in technical sales, all within a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Through comprehensive training, participants will develop expertise in technical sales strategies and techniques, while gaining in-depth knowledge of Siemens’ products, technologies, and core values. This dynamic and engaging program blends instruction with hands-on learning to lay the foundation for a successful career in technical sales at a global industry leader.
As a participant, your responsibilities may include:

Gaininga deep understanding of Siemens’ legacy, organizational structure, productofferings, systems, tools, and internal processes

Collaboratingwith product management and subject matter experts across variousfunctions
-
Preparingsales quotations for teams, distributors, and customers
-
Exploringindustry dynamics, including go-to-market strategies and channelpartnerships

Learningkey sales, skills, processes and tools

Developingnetworking skills with peers and leadership while applying proven salesmethodologies

Engagingin a collaborative, team-based environment alongside fellow trainees

Receivingguidance and support from recently graduated program mentors
Over the course of 12-months, participants are expected to remain in Peachtree Corners for the duration of the Program. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be eligible to interview for positions in sales, inside sales and sales support in sales offices across the country.
The first 9-months, you will focus on building a strong foundation in Siemens’ core products, systems, processes, and essential sales techniques. The last 3-months, you will transition into a more immersive, real-world experience that reinforces and expands upon the skills developed in the initial phase.

This Program could be a great fit if you:

Havegraduated with a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrialor Civil), Construction Management, Business or Marketing

Obtaineda Professional Selling Certificate or similar

Membershipwith your school's Sales Engineering Club or similar

Havethe right attitude and a technical aptitude with a keen interest in theelectrical industry

Haveprior internship experience in sales or technical role
-
Haveprior customer-facing experience in sales, construction, engineering ortechnical field

Arewilling to relocate and travel as required by the program
-
Aregood at building relationships and have strong communication, timemanagement, and organizational skills

Arelegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual andpermanent basis without company or school sponsorship. This program doesnot support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well asOPT/CPT.
