Job Title: Operations Associate

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, 32257

Pay: $18/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am -4:30pm

Job Description

The Operations Associate supports daily warehouse and production activities by handling metal materials, performing accurate measurements, and safely moving products throughout the facility. This role requires consistent heavy lifting, precise use of tape measures, and careful attention to detail in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Pull metal and sheet metal materials from shelves and storage locations according to work orders and instructions.

  • Handle and move metal products safely, including frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift.

  • Use a tape measure and other basic measuring tools to measure metal materials accurately.

  • Verify measurements and quantities to ensure accuracy before materials move to the next stage of production.

  • Organize and restock metal inventory in designated areas to maintain an orderly warehouse.

  • Work safely and comfortably around metal materials, tools, and warehouse equipment.

  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in an open-air warehouse environment.

  • Assist with general production and warehouse tasks as needed to support team operations.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work comfortably and safely around metal and sheet metal materials.

  • Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting and manual material handling.

  • Strong attention to detail when measuring and handling materials.

  • Proficient use of a tape measure and basic measuring tools.

  • Ability to work effectively in a production and warehouse setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

  • Previous experience in metal work, sheet metal, or production environments is beneficial.

  • Comfort working with warehouse tools and equipment.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
