Job Description
Job Description Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to support their cline tin High Point, NC. This person will perform blood collections across all age groups, including pediatric patients, while providing strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, comfortable with computers, and able to maintain accuracy while moving quickly.
Day-to-Day
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol testing, and other services
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Enter patient information accurately and efficiently
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Maintain patient and specimen logs
- Provide excellent customer service
- Complete administrative and clerical duties Hours: Monday- 8-5 Wednesday 8-5 Thursday 8-5 Friday 8-5
****** Tuesdays - Ability to work at the High Point PSC if they choose to - or they can have the day off
Skills and Requirements
Must-Haves

High school diploma or GED

Phlebotomy certification, completed phlebotomy training program, Approximately 2 years of total phlebotomy experience preferred

1 year of pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred

Comfortable with data entry, email, and basic computer tasks

Reliable transportation

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Plusses

Experience in a high-volume environment

Strong specimen-processing and data-entry experience
