Lab Technologist

Great Opportunity for Biology & Chemistry Graduates!Multiple Openings Available | Various Shift Opportunities

Are you a recent Biology or Chemistry graduate looking to launch your scientific career? We're partnering with a well-known and growing scientific organization in Burlington that is actively hiring Lab Technologists for multiple upcoming openings across various shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory experience, work with advanced testing methodologies, and build a strong foundation for long-term growth within the life sciences industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis to support patient diagnostics and healthcare outcomes.

  • Process and prepare biological samples according to established laboratory procedures.

  • Utilize laboratory instrumentation and equipment to perform routine testing.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory results.

  • Support quality control and quality assurance activities.

  • Troubleshoot test performance issues and document corrective actions when needed.

  • Assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, and laboratory organization.

  • Collaborate with Scientists, Technologists, and laboratory teams to ensure accurate and timely results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Strong laboratory skills gained through academic, internship, research, or industry experience.

  • Knowledge of biology, chemistry, and laboratory testing techniques.

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous laboratory experience through industry work, internships, undergraduate research, or academic laboratory courses.

  • Experience with sample preparation, quality control, or laboratory instrumentation.

  • 1-3 years of laboratory experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
