Full job description

About the role and team

As an Executive Assistant Business Partner (EABP), you are a strategic operator who provides the foundation for Uber’s leadership to move fast. This isn't just about scheduling; it's about navigating a high-stakes, global environment where the stakes are high and the "conference room landscape" is complex. You’ll need to act with extreme urgency and precision, anticipating logistical hurdles before they impact the business and ensuring our leaders are prepared for every critical moment.

Success in this role requires a mindset of ownership and resilience. You will be part of an extraordinary EA community that prides itself on excellence and "going boldly together." We are looking for a partner who thrives in ambiguity, remains steady under pressure, and is motivated by the challenge of coordinating complex, real-world movement at a global scale.

This role will support our Vice President, Corporate Development.

What you’ll do

  • Provide high-level, proactive partnership by mastering complex calendars, vetting competing priorities, and making recommendations to optimize your leader's most valuable resource—time.

  • Navigate the intricacies of supporting leaders across different time zones and remote environments, managing the logistics of international travel and visa processing with zero room for error.

  • Unblock leadership by driving accountability for project deadlines and deliverables, taking ownership of action items to ensure the team stays on track in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead the seamless execution of high-impact events, from summits and QBRs to team all-hands, balancing operational precision with team morale.

  • Manage complex financial tasks, including leader morale budgets and expense auditing, while handling sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion.

  • Champion the administrative program within your organization by assisting with alignment, coverage, and hiring to ensure the team maintains its high talent bar.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional administrative experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Calendar, Mail, Docs, Sheets).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of administrative experience, with at least 6 years supporting VP-level leaders in a global or matrixed business environment.

  • Proven track record of implementing systems and processes to optimize leadership efficiency and long-term business objectives.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience owning complex, end-to-end projects from inception to completion with minimal oversight.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate extreme ambiguity and pivot instantly to respond to shifting priorities in a high-pressure environment.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD $59.62 per hour - USD $66.35 per hour.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
