Facility:Mathile Center for Mental Health and WellnessDepartment:Mental Crisis ServicesSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The Mental Health Education Liaison needs a working knowledge of mental health diagnoses signs and symptoms and basic interventions. They also need a working knowledge of levels of behavioral health care. This position will collaborate with clinics of various specialties inside and outside of Dayton Children’s Hospital. The position will engage in the implementation of Zero Suicide and depression screenings. This position will also collaborate with and educate schools, teachers, emergency departments, primary care offices, and other community partners regarding the services available at Dayton Children’s Hospital. Candidates need to demonstrate knowledge of ambulatory clinic operations and capabilities in establishing goals timelines, strong communication skills, and monitoring progress and requirements.

Department Specific Job Details:

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited program

Master's preferred

Certifications:Only one of the mentioned certifications are preferred:

  • LSW Ohio - Ohio Licensed Social Worker - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board

  • LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board

  • Registered Nursing license in State of Ohio

Experience

3-5 years experience in behavioral health

Skills/Responsibilities

Knowledge of Behavioral Health levels of care.

Knowledge of ambulatory clinic operations

Mental Health Awareness

Outreach and Education

Program Reporting, Support and Accountability

Schedule:

full time, 40 hours

day shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
