Job Title - Student Intern, Transportation Construction Services Location - Salt Lake City, UT Job Type - Onsite Requisition ID - 11371 Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern for our Transportation Construction Services Department out of our Salt Lake City, UT office. This individual will work with senior engineers and inspectors on a comprehensive range of construction management projects. Experience will be gained on wide range of projects from local agency projects to major interstate projects. What You Will Be Doing: * Assist with oversight of various infrastructure projects in the construction phase. * Learn quality metrics, testing requirements, and construction inspection duties. * Make field work calculations and daily reports in a format that can easily be checked by others. * Coordinate work activities with other staff members assigned to a project. Required Qualifications: * Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program with the ability to obtain Engineering-In-Training status; Construction Management emphasis is preferred * Must be at least a college sophomore * Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Driving record in good standing * Able to work in a team environment * Displays eagerness to learn new tasks and ask questions as needed * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Demonstrated organization and time management abilities * Extended hours may be required, anticipated 40+ hours/week, but not guaranteed Learn more about Stanley Consultants in this short video: Working at Stanley Consultants Stanley Consultants does not welcome unsolicited resumes from staffing and recruiting agencies.
