Linux System Administrator Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 12 Months

• Work Location: 100% Remote

• Travel Requirement: Occasional travel to Dallas, TX (1-2 days annually)

• Pay range: $70 - $75/hour

We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator. This is a 12-month engagement focused on infrastructure, systems administration, network operations, and automation. Occasional travel to Dallas, TX may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Linux-based systems and infrastructure environments.

• Manage and maintain network, server, and virtualization environments.

• Support automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and systems-related issues.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stable and secure operations.

Requirements:

• Linux System Administrator experience

• Hands-on experience in CentOS, Fedora, or RHEL environments

• Strong systems administration background with a focus on infrastructure, networks, and automation

• Preference for infrastructure/operations experience over application development

• VMware experience preferred

• Nutanix experience preferred

• Ability to travel occasionally (1-2 days per year) to Dallas, TX
