Supervising Dentist- Part Time

SUNY Broome Community College invites applications for qualified candidates to teach as part-time Supervising Dentists within the Dental Hygiene Department. Supervising Dentists will teach in the on-campus clinic. Opportunities vary by semester. The Dental Hygiene department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part time Supervising Dentist positions. Applications are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review of medical histories. Approval of impressions and mouthguard fittings. Adjusting dental sealants. Review of dental radiographic images. Requirements: Active New York State Dental license (D.D.S. or D.M.D.). Dental Clinical experience. Teaching experience preferred. Current CPR certification by New York State approved provider. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship from the employer. Additional Information: The hourly rate for this position is $93.46. Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
