Data Quality Analyst

Job Description

This person helps make sure company data is accurate and reliable.

They'll review a list of data issues, talk with business teams to understand what the data should look like, and then create SQL rules that automatically identify bad or missing data. They will test those rules, document them, and help get them approved and published.

Skills and Requirements

Strong SQL skills. Experience finding and fixing data quality issues. Ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions. Comfortable analyzing data and spotting trends or anomalies. Good communication and documentation skills. Able to work independently. Some understanding of oil & gas data or the ability to learn it quickly. Databricks Azure DevOps Alation Data governance or data management experience Experience creating reusable data validation rules
