Assignment: 4 hours per day for the 2026-2027 school year (2 positions)
Wages and Benefits: Minimum hourly rate: $22.61 Click here to view the wage schedule for this position. Wages can be found in Appendix A, Class C. Not eligible for medical or dental benefits
Job Responsibilities: Provides academic and social/emotional support in a 2nd grade classroom by working with small groups and individual students under the supervision of the lead teacher.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience working with elementary students.
- Evidence of strong math and reading skills.
- Evidence of strong skills in supporting students struggling with anxiety and school avoidance
- Strong crisis and conflict management skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
- Clear communication in speaking and writing.
- Evidence of friendly, outgoing personality.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Evidence of willingness to participate in staff development.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on a project.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills, punctuality, and efficiency.
