Responsibilities

• Follow documented mechanical inspection process instructions to evaluate incoming parts and materials.

• Verify that mechanical parts meet inspection plan and drawing requirements, including dimensions, features, and quality standards.

• Document part rejection reasons clearly and accurately, and communicate them according to the Material Review Board (MRB) process.

• Process shortage and urgent parts ahead of other workload to support production and customer needs.

• Systematically maintain accurate inspection and receiving records using the appropriate systems and tools.

• Expedite shortages and high-priority items within the mechanical inspection area to minimize delays.

• Move accepted and inspected material to the stockroom or designated storage locations as needed.

• Support shipping and receiving activities as required, including material handling, packaging, and inventory control tasks.

• Perform other duties as defined by department management to support overall quality assurance and material flow.

This is a Contract position based out of Morgan Hill, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
