At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Practice Manager to join our team.

The primary responsibility of the Practice Manager is:

Operations & Workflow

  • Oversee daily business operations, including scheduling, office management, and clinic flow.

  • Oversee centralized call center operations.

  • Ensure effective patient flow from check‑in to clinical treatment.

  • Ensure EMR systems function properly and capture accurate data.

  • Monitor KPIs, clinical performance metrics, and workflow efficiency.

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, payroll, vendor relationships, and financial reporting.

  • Oversee scheduling with clear understanding of payer policies.

  • Provide input for budget preparation and cost control.

Staff Leadership

  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, and disciplinary procedures.

  • Promote staff development, engagement, and retention.

  • Collaborate with other leaders to ensure optimal efficiency of practice functions.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, HRSA, and other regulations.

  • Implement policies, audits, and administrative frameworks.

  • Manage patient complaints, incidents, and risk‑related issues.

Patient Experience

  • Resolve patient complaints and ensure high satisfaction.

  • Support a patient‑centered environment and smooth service delivery.

Ideal Candidate would have the following qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience in medical office or practice management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and payer requirements.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with practice management software and EMR systems.

  • Certifications such as Certified Medical Manager (CMM) are a plus.

  • Pay Range: $74,048/Yr. - $114,774.4/Yr. (Based on 40 hours per week, otherwise pro rata)

  • FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.00 - 40 hrs/week
