Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) –Torrance,CA

Local Pay: $24.35/hour - (W2)

Shift Details:

  • 12 hour shift, Days, Evenings, Nights, including weekends and holidays

  • Minimum of two (2) shifts per week or as needed

Nursing Specialty: Float Pool-Crisis Resolution Unit

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties & Responsibilities:

  • CNAs will assist nurses and physicians in providing direct care to patients with acute psychiatric disorders, acute injuries and variation of medical conditions.

  • CNAs will provide care by helping patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, hygiene, and mobility; monitoring and recording vital signs and patient observations; transporting patients to diagnostic tests/procedures, surgeries, and transfers between units; and maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in acute care setting experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.

  • Active Certified Nurse Attendant certification, AHA BLS, MAAB or CPI

  • LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)

  • Candidates must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
