Full job description

If you are hired to this position, you will be employed by Magnit Global. You will not be employed by City National Bank.

This role is an onsite based role 5 days a week.

The Opportunity

Lockbox Operations are responsible for handling client's remittances. Remittances are opened manually or by using an automated extractor.

Ability to operate, with minimal supervision, automated capture equipment and mail sorters. In addition, will be responsible for keying data from client invoice, check image or credit card voucher and balancing accounts using application-based technologies, validates payees, performs data corrections on system misread items, reviews system production monitor to ensure timely processing of deadline-specific accounts.

*The Responsibilities: *

  • Extract payments from envelopes and match invoice information for scanning.

  • Prepare payment information for scanning.

  • Handle payment processing and physical mail for payment processing.

  • Adhere to client-specific deadlines, schedules, and quality requirements.

  • Operate automated capture equipment and mail sorters with minimal supervision.

  • Perform data entry and corrections

The Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of banking, payment, or account receivable processing experience.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in MS Office, Excel, and Word.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Basic computer skills and efficiency with online systems.

  • Ability to focus on specific tasks and work independently under pressure.

  • Requires some lifting, up to 30 lbs.

  • Scanning and data entry experience preferred.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $25.00/hour - $25.00/hour
