Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Power Distribution Engineer Designers for a client in the Greater Orlando Area. This is a mid-level role, and the ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, with at least 1-3 years of experience in Distribution Engineering. They must also have experience with PLS CADD. The ideal candidate will understand the design and have experience working with power distribution overhead and underground, as well as being coachable and willing to learn.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil)
1-2+ years of experience with Distribution Engineering in utilities
1+ years of experience using PLS CADD

(If no engineering degree - 4 years of experience in power distribution with 1-2 years using PLS CAD)

Underground power distribution experience
Design software experience: BOUD/OUD, Microstation, AutoCad, Maximo, Distribution/Utilities experience
