Line Worker, Packaging
Location: Mount Prospect
Shifts and pay:
-
1st shift: $20/hr
-
2nd shift: $22/hr
Spanish/English bilingual ability is required
About the role
Join a packaging team producing non-sterile liquid products. You’ll help set up and operate packaging equipment, check product quality, complete production records, and keep the line clean and safe.
What you’ll do
-
Set up and operate packaging equipment such as fillers, cappers, sealers, labelers, cartoners, and case packers.

Load bottles, caps, seals, and labels; assist with equipment changeovers.

Monitor equipment settings and check fill volumes, cap tightness, labels, printed lot and expiration dates, and seals.

Identify and separate defective products or materials to prevent contamination or mix-ups. For example, if an item falls on the floor, don’t put it back on the line.

Verify materials before production and complete batch records, equipment logs, and other paperwork accurately and on time.

Clear and sanitize the line between product runs and maintain a clean work area.

Clear basic jams and report equipment problems to maintenance.

Follow safety procedures, including required PPE and Lockout/Tagout practices.
What we’re looking for

Must be bilingual.

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
1–2 years of experience operating packaging, filling, or similar production equipment preferred; pharmaceutical experience is not required .

Experience in food production, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or another environment with strong safety and cleanliness practices is a plus.

Good attention to detail and awareness of how to prevent contamination and product mix-ups.

Ability to follow written procedures and complete records accurately.

Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 40 pounds.
