Description We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support daily technology operations and deliver responsive technical assistance to employees in Beverly, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position combines front-line user support with core systems administration, making it ideal for someone who can resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a reliable IT environment. The role will work across endpoint support, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, server administration, and vendor coordination to keep business systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
-
Deliver day-to-day Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for staff, resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues across the organization.
-
Assess incoming support requests, identify root causes, prioritize incidents appropriately, and escalate complex problems when additional expertise is required.
-
Provide technical assistance for a primarily Windows environment while also supporting Mac users and their related endpoint needs.
-
Maintain user accounts, group memberships, and security permissions within Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Okta.
-
Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Office 365 applications, SharePoint, and OneDrive, to support communication and collaboration.
-
Perform routine administration of Windows Server systems, including updates, software deployment, patching, and general system upkeep.

Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate technology maintenance, upgrades, equipment orders, and service-related issues.
-
Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing devices, provisioning access, recovering equipment, and updating asset records.
-
Manage IT inventory and procurement activities, including sourcing laptops, tracking hardware assets, and coordinating deliveries.
-
Contribute to operational security efforts by assisting with audit readiness, documentation gathering, conference room technology support, and other ongoing IT tasks as needed. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in systems administration or hands-on IT support with responsibility for both user support and infrastructure tasks.
-
Strong troubleshooting ability in Tier 1 and Tier 2 support environments, with the judgment to prioritize and resolve issues independently.
-
Practical experience administering Windows systems, Windows Server, and Microsoft Windows 10 in a business setting.
-
Proven knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure, including user management and access control.
-
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services such as Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
-
Ability to communicate clearly with employees, vendors, and internal teams while delivering a high level of customer service.
-
Familiarity with IT purchasing, asset tracking, and coordination with third-party service providers.
-
Preferred experience with Okta, Mac OS support, Dynamics 365, HRIS or other business applications, and cybersecurity or audit-related activities. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
