Summary:

Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of diabetes education programs for patients, families, healthcare professionals, and community members. Serves as a clinical expert and educational resource, promoting evidence-based diabetes care and self-management practices throughout the hospital and community. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, supports quality improvement initiatives, and provides guidance on diabetes-related clinical practices. Participates in community outreach programs, maintains knowledge of current diabetes care advancements, and supports ADA-recognized program processes. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
