This job was posted by https://joblink.delaware.gov : For more information, please see: https://joblink.delaware.gov/jobs/1567880 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate wastewater treatment plants within DNREC guidelines DUTIES: - Check all assigned wastewater treatment plants each day: - - Pumps/motors and associated equipment - Station output/input - Chemical feeders - Check for any problems - Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment. - Ensure the efficient and reliable operation and appearance of all wastewater facilities and related equipment. - Assist Supervisor in coordinating daily work assignments for Wastewater Operators. - Coordinate operations with outside contractors (farmers and/or golf courses operators). - Recommend and assist in implementing improvements for department and facilities efficiencies. - Collect and run laboratory samples and process control sampling. - Input daily reports. - Perform data input into personal computer. - Respond to any emergency needs for after-hours.
