Extrusion Associate 1st Shift

Job Description JOB DETAILS Pay starting at $17 per hour 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Duties and Responsibilities The Extrusion Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments. - Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units - May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows - Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers - Understand and carry out verbal instructions - Read and carry out simple written instructions - Read work orders, labels, and schedules - Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during the interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects - Make fraction and decimal conversions - Operate any equipment needed to perform a job - Perform other duties as assigned - Provide on-the-job training to new employees Qualifications - Must be at least 18 years of age to apply - Must be authorized to work in the US - Must be able to pass a background check and drug test - Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions - Ability to stand for extended periods - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist - Preferably with experience in manufacturing - Preferably with experience reading a tape measure - Employees are required tostand or walk on a concrete floor surface for up to a ten-hour shift Additional Information Site Address: 2549 Innovation Drive, Marion, Ohio, 43302 Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
