Clinical Research Assistant II Med-Pediatrics - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26005240) This position is for the Division of General Academic Pediatrics (GAP) within the Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate will support clinical research and clinical trials in a busy pediatric clinical setting in Oakland, with multiple studies focused on common pediatric infections and conditions. Candidates with bilingual English-Spanish skills are strongly preferred. The incumbent will assist with recruitment and consent, data collection, electronic health record review, and participant retention. Data collection may include surveys, phone calls, and participant interviews. Position may also include specimen collection. Prior phlebotomy skills are helpful, but on-the-job training will be provided. If travel is required for the position, and if the incumbent is not utilizing public transportation, a valid driver's license is required. It is the expectation that the incumbent will use their own vehicle required for local travel and the owner of the vehicle must carry automobile liability insurance. The owner's automobile liability insurance coverage is primary coverage. The University's automobile liability insurance policy provides excess coverage only. Equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement. PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required prior to the start of employment.
