Our Healthcare partner in Jackson needs a full-time Appointment Specialist to add to their team! 1st Shift: 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM | Monday -- Friday Starting wage is $17.21/hour Full-time, temporary to permanent positions in Jackson, MI. Essential Duties for the Appointment Specialist: - Schedule patient appointments via phone. - Complete registration & verify demographics for patients. - Schedule transportation & translation services for patients as needed. - Check the call-in lines. - Follow up with patients who have missed their appointments & identify barriers. - Check in the basket daily & complete all pending tasks. - Assist patients with questions regarding services offered and connect patients with appropriate personnel. - Previous medical office experience preferred. - Knowledge of medical insurance rules preferred. - Excellent customer service. - Both written and verbal communication skills.
