Job Description The Role As Senior Strategist, Digital Marketing Insights & Data Democratization, you will turn digital performance data into clear, actionable insights that guide marketing and digital experience decisions for a GM brand. Supporting brand and dealer audiences, you will own reporting and analysis across marketing, site, funnel, lead, sales, and operational metrics. You will partner with stakeholders to uncover the questions behind their requests, translate complex data into compelling stories, and identify opportunities to improve performance. You will also modernize how insights are delivered by streamlining data collection, automating recurring reporting, and making high-value analysis more accessible across GM.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, define analytical requirements, and align deliverables to business priorities.
  • Own monthly reporting for brand and site performance, including leads, sales, clickstream activity, funnel performance, and trends over time.
  • Analyze and communicate performance differences and emerging trends across brands, sites, and dealer audiences.
  • Evaluate digital behavior and engagement across mobile and desktop experiences, including calls to action, content interaction, clickstream activity, heat maps, and other site behaviors.
  • Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities that inform marketing and digital experience decisions.
  • Present concise, compelling findings and recommendations that connect metrics to business outcomes for executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Respond to ad hoc analytical requests while creating repeatable solutions, reusable data products, and automated reporting workflows that improve speed and accessibility.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics, computer science, data science, management information systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of experience in analytics, digital insights, marketing analytics, or a related field.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience querying and analyzing data in Databricks or a similar environment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Analytics and/or Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of clickstream data and digital customer behavior.
  • Demonstrated ability to tell stories with data and communicate insights to executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Ability to explain highly technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Graduate degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience with Python for analysis, automation, or data preparation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
  • Experience designing automated reporting, repeatable analytical workflows, or self-service data solutions.
  • Curiosity and creativity, with a willingness to investigate new questions and explore better ways to analyze data.
