Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager will support the Network Engineering team by managing the planning, coordination, tracking, and delivery of technical infrastructure projects across data centers, headquarters, and remote/regional sites. This individual will work closely with Network Engineering, Data Center Operations, Desktop Engineering, Security, and other infrastructure teams to ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and effectively communicated.

Responsibilities:

-Manage projects in Jira, including epics, boards, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.

-Partnering with the team leads to translate technical requirements into actionable projects planning, and tasks.

-Drive action items, track commitments, and identify and escalate risks and blockers.

-Run project meetings with clear agendas, decisions, owners, and follow-up actions.

-Maintain Jira dashboards and provide concise project status reporting.

-Coordinate network deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure projects across data centers and remote/regional sites.

-Develop and track remote-site cost analysis, including circuits, hardware, vendors, deployment costs, and ongoing operational expenses.

-Maintain project documentation, including project plans, requirements, trackers, SLAs, and basic network diagrams.

-This is a hands-on, mid-level role working directly with engineers and cross-functional infrastructure teams to keep projects organized, on schedule, and clearly communicated.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

-Experience with network deployments, infrastructure upgrades, or remote-site launches.

-Confluence and project planning/visualization experience.

-Experience working with Network Engineering, Data Center, Infrastructure, or Security teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Foster City, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
