ABOUT THIS ROLE This essential position, based in New York City, will report to the Chief of Strategic Projects, Development and Growth, Corporate & Finance, and will be the M&BD lead for the Americas across our Banking & Loan Finance and Derivatives practice areas. The role will have primary responsibility for M&BD support to the Americas Banking & Loan Finance practice, including its significant Fund Finance, Real Estate Finance, Leveraged Finance, and Private Credit platform and related events and initiatives, while also providing dedicated support to the Derivatives practice. This individual will work closely with the global and local M&BD teams, along with key U.S. partner leads, to develop and implement M&BD plans in line with the wider business plan and objectives. More specifically, this individual will work in conjunction with the Chief of Strategic Projects, Development and Growth, Corporate & Finance to ensure a structured approach to client development and targeting, pitching, profile raising, and marketing campaigns. Identifying and driving synergies between practice, client, and industry sector teams in the Americas will be an important part of the role. The ability to develop a deep understanding of multiple practice areas, to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, and to collaborate and communicate well with partners, lawyers and colleagues alike in a manner that builds trust and confidence is also paramount. The successful candidate will be expected to operate as a senior, hands-on business development partner to the practices, moving seamlessly between strategic planning and direct execution as needed.
