Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead daily construction operations on a federal renovation project at Fort Bliss. This individual will oversee field activities, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the duration of the project. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial, institutional, military, or federal construction projects and can effectively lead multiple trades in an active construction environment. This is a fully onsite role requiring 5+ days a week onsite.

Responsibilities -Serve as the onsite SSHO and primary safety representative for a federal renovation project at Fort Bliss. -Enforce compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements. -Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and site assessments. -Review, approve, and manage Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs). -Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and weekly safety meetings. -Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations and implement corrective actions. -Maintain all required safety documentation, logs, and compliance reports. -Monitor subcontractor safety performance and ensure adherence to project safety standards. -Support development and execution of Accident Prevention Plans (APPs). -Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and government safety personnel to maintain a safe work environment. -Track corrective actions through closure and ensure timely resolution of safety concerns. -Promote a proactive safety culture throughout all phases of construction.

Skills and Requirements

•10+ years of construction safety experience •Experience supporting federal construction projects (USACE preferred) •OSHA 30 Certification •EM 385-1-1 40-Hour Certification •Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations •Ability to review and manage Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) •Strong documentation and reporting skills •USACE project experience •Current First Aid/CPR Certification •CHST, CSP, SSHO, or equivalent safety certification •Experience working on military installations •Experience developing Accident Prevention Plans (APPs)
