IT Support Technician

Description

We are seeking a customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and network-related issues. This role will support end users in Windows and Mac environments, resolve technical problems, manage IT equipment, and deliver excellent customer service. This role is based in Kearny Mesa, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, laptop, mobile device, and application support to end users.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues.

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Mac systems.

• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions within Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related platforms.

• Document, track, and resolve support requests through a ticketing system.

• Deploy and image computers, set up workstations, and maintain IT asset inventory.

• Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when necessary.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

Requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT Support, Desktop Support, or Help Desk experience.

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware.

• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and ticketing systems.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts, VPNs, and wireless connectivity.

• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Intune, SCCM, or endpoint management tools.

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or related certifications.

• Experience supporting both onsite and remote users.
