Full job description
Our client, a global medical technology company , is seeking a Product Development Technician to join their team. As a Product Development Technician , you will be part of the Product Development/Engineering Department supporting the R&D, Engineering, and Laboratory teams . The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Product Development Technician / Tech 2, Mechanical Engineering
Location: Brea, CA 92821, 100% On-site
Pay Range: $28-$35/hr
What’s the Job?

Perform laboratory testing by executing designed test protocols and accurately documenting and communicating results.

Provide technical support to engineers, including prototype processes, test setups, and routine technical assignments.

Gather, maintain, compile, and analyze technical data, including laboratory and material test results.

Support general laboratory activities, including equipment calibration, qualification, routine maintenance, and safety procedures.

Prepare technical documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, and quantitative summaries.
What’s Needed?
-
High School Diploma with 4-6 years of laboratory or technician experience in a regulated environment; alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in a technical field with 1-2+ years of laboratory/R&D experience is preferred.

Experience following written procedures and executing designed test procedures or protocols.

Ability to accurately document and communicate laboratory and test results.

Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, laboratory personnel, and cross-functional teams.

Computer proficiency and the ability to work safely with laboratory equipment, test samples, and chemicals.
