Full job description

  • Plan, organize, control, supervise, administer and complete facility plumbing maintenance and repair program.
  • Responsible for program development, supervision of emergency plumbing maintenance and repair operations, and the installation, operation and maintenance of plumbing and sewage disposal systems.
  • Position may require on-call rotation and/or 24-hour emergency repair.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas or waste disposal systems. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis.

  • Must be able to supervise, direct, instruct, and work with other people.
