Clinical Internship Opportunity!

This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the behavioral health field while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

As an intern, you will assist with a variety of tasks that will enhance your knowledge and skills in behavioral health practice, including client assessments, treatment planning, and/or crisis intervention. This role offers the opportunity to learn about evidence-based practices, develop your clinical skills, and contribute to the overall mission of supporting individuals in achieving better mental health and well-being.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with intake assessments,screening tools, and client follow-ups under the supervision of licensedprofessionals.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-dateclient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuringconfidentiality.

  • Provide supportive services toclients through group or individual sessions, as directed by licensedclinical staff, including psychoeducation and emotional support.

  • Observe and assist inimplementing treatment plans and behavioral health interventions undersupervision.

  • Assist with schedulingappointments, managing client caseloads, and helping clients navigatecommunity resources and services.

  • Participate in team meetings,case discussions, and training sessions to learn about best practices andemerging trends in behavioral health.

  • Assist in identifying andresponding to clients experiencing crisis situations, while followingorganizational protocols and procedures.

  • Support research initiatives andassist with data collection and analysis to help evaluate theeffectiveness of behavioral health programs.
